Hi, I’m Kassie—aka Five Foot Short/5footshort (FFS)—a designer and visual storyteller. At just five feet tall, 5footshort is a playful nod to my height and a reflection of my creative roots in film. FFS also doubles as a cheeky film-inspired acronym: Frame. Focus. Story. Because every great project starts with the right frame, sharp focus, and a compelling story. My style blends clean, intentional design with an eye for emotion, rhythm, and clarity—whether I'm working on branding, motion graphics/video editing, publications or digital assets.
With over a decade of professional experience, I specialize in transforming complex ideas into intuitive, human-centered designs. My design approach is collaborative and purpose-driven. It’s not about personal style, it’s about understanding people, uncovering their needs, and creating solutions that are clear, effective, and visually engaging.
This portfolio offers just a glimpse of my work and the value I bring. Take a look around—I hope you enjoy what you see and that we create something meaningful together!

When I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me spending time with my partner and our scaly baby (a bearded dragon named Porunga), gaming, or binge-watching Netflix. An introvert at heart, I still love the occasional board game night, karaoke, happy hour, or spontaneous trip when the mood strikes. I’m also always experimenting with new hairstyles and colors—it’s one of my favorite creative outlets.
Curiosity is a constant in my life. I’m committed to learning, growing, and better understanding both people and the world around me.
I’m deeply passionate about human rights, LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, and equality for all. I fully believe meaningful change starts with empathy, kindness, and action. I try to do my part by supporting those in need whenever possible, including donating to causes that help victims of human trafficking and domestic abuse, advocating for environmental policy changes, and giving to worldwide humanitarian organizations like UNICEF. No human being should go hungry or be homeless when there are more than enough resources to share. A world where everyone has access to basic needs, healthcare, and dignity isn’t idealistic—it’s necessary.
